Our journey commenced in 2009 with heartfelt conversations about domestic violence within the church, echoing the call to uphold Christ’s love and protection for all. As Karen traveled North Carolina for her day job, the pressing need for deeper support and spiritual understanding among women became apparent. It was evident that internalized oppression had woven its threads into every aspect of their lives, prompting a call to action.

From this awakening, SOIREE was born—a sanctuary where women gathered not only to discuss literature but also to unpack the trials they faced in their workplaces, legal systems, and communities, seeking solace in the presence of Christ.

In time, Karen’s vision expanded to encompass the yearning within many women to utilize their God-given talents to provide for their families, leading to the birth of KWF, LLC, rooted in faith and driven by compassion.

Our mission remains steadfast: to empower women to overcome challenges and navigate through life’s complexities with unwavering faith, guided by the light of Christ, until they reach the destination ordained by God for their lives.
